Rates, Insurance, & Payment
Transparent information about fees, insurance coverage, and payment options.
Rates
Initial Intake / First Session (60 minutes) — $265
Ongoing Psychotherapy (53+ minutes) — $240
I also offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and see if we’re a good fit.
Insurance
I am currently an in-network provider with:
PacificSource
Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon and Washington
Aetna
First Choice Health Network
Note: If “First Choice Health Network” (FCHN) is listed somewhere on your insurance card — even if the main plan says Kaiser, UnitedHealthcare, etc. — I am considered in-network.
If you have another insurance plan, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. In those cases, you would pay my full fee at the time of service, and I can provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt) to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
Please contact your insurance company directly to confirm coverage and out-of-network benefits.
Payment
Payment is collected at the time of each session. I accept:
Major credit cards
Debit cards
HSA/FSA cards
All payments are handled securely through my client portal.
If you are using insurance, any co-pays or co-insurance amounts will be collected at the time of service.
If you are paying privately, you are responsible for the full session fee. I will provide a receipt (superbill) upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. You will also receive a Good Faith Estimate, as required by law, outlining the expected costs of therapy.
If my fee is not workable, I’m happy to provide referrals to lower-cost options in the community.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that life happens and schedules can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows me to offer the time to someone else who may be waiting. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee, as insurance does not cover these costs.
