— a resting place that provides recovery, perspective, and preparation for the journey ahead.
My Services
I work with adults (18+) and teens (13–17) through secure telehealth sessions. Based in Bend, Oregon, I am licensed to see clients throughout Oregon and Washington. My services are for individuals only at this time (not couples or family therapy).
My Approach in Therapy
Therapy with me is collaborative, active, and supportive. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — both evidence-based approaches that teach practical ways to relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings and help better manage moods, relationships, etc.
In sessions, we will:
Break problems into clear, workable parts
Practice skills you can use between sessions
Focus on what matters most to you (not just what feels most urgent)
Move at a steady, respectful pace — supportive, not pushy
The goal is to help you step back, gain perspective, and build tools you can carry forward long after therapy ends.
What Sessions Look Like
Initial Intake Session: Approximately 60 minutes. We’ll talk through your history, what brings you to therapy, and your goals moving forward.
Ongoing Sessions: Approximately 53 minutes. These sessions focus on support, perspective, and practical skills to help you make progress.
Telehealth Only: All sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. For teens, parent/guardian involvement will be included as appropriate.
Common Focus Areas
While every client’s journey is unique, these are some of the challenges I help people navigate:
Anxiety and Stress: Learn ways to quiet overthinking, manage panic, and create space for what matters most.
Depression and Burnout: Build small, steady changes that restore motivation, energy, and hope.
Life Transitions: Navigate school, work, retirement, parenting, or other major changes with perspective and resilience.
Relationship Strain: Strengthen communication, set boundaries, and address patterns that keep you stuck.
Past Experiences and Loss: Process difficult memories, grief, and trauma at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
If there are areas you don’t see listed here but want to discuss, please reach out — I’d be glad to talk with you.
Getting Started
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions, get a sense of my approach, and see if we’re a good fit.
